This project includes Phase III engineering services for construction contract 64K73, which includes the removal and replacement of the twin structures carrying IL2 over the Rock River in Rockton. The project includes use of temporary crossovers to stage traffic. The following structures are included in this project: S.N. 101-0125: IL 2 over Rock River S.N. 101-0126: IL 2 over Rock River The Consultant must provide sufficient staff to perform all engineering services required to complete the project in accordance with departmental policies. This may include, but is not limited to all on-site construction inspection, documentation of pay quantities and related forms for record keeping, use of Construction & Materials Management System (CMMS), on-site quality assurance material testing, geotechnical inspection, verification of construction layout including GPS work, submittal of pay estimates, change orders, and all other work required to complete the project in a timely manner. The Consultant will be responsible to ensure contractors complete the work in accordance with the plans and specifications. It is anticipated the department will do all off-site material inspection for the project.
