Madison Public Schools in conjunction with Madison Facilities Department are seeking SEALED Bids from interested individuals, firms or consultant teams to provide Architectural Design, Phasing, Estimating and Construction Administration Services for safety and maintenance upgrades to all bathrooms and interior and exterior doors at Polson Middle School, located at 302 Green Hill Road, Madison CT 06443. The work to be performed for the project is multiple parts. Selected Architect will be asked to provide a full conditions assessment of all existing bathrooms and interior and exterior doors/door frames within Polson Middle School. Design Team will provide a phased replacement program for upgrades and replacement over the course of three Summer periods, beginning in Summer 2024. Phased plans should consider full project budget and estimating to maximize replacement value within approved project funding. Madison Facilities Department is looking for recommendations for most effective replacement scope and schedule. Door replacements should focus on safety implications and ADA compliance foremost, with maintenance and existing conditions as secondary concerns. Bathroom replacement recommendations should focus on current condition and ADA compliance, ease of future maintenance, and a cohesive plan to replace and upgrade all fixtures to be uniform and easily maintained and replaced by Facilities onsite staff. The Town of Madison reserves the right to waive any informalities, irregularities or defects in bids, to reject any and all bids and to accept a bid that, in its' sole discretion, is in the best interest of the Town. Bidders are responsible for checking and confirming Addenda postings. The Town will not be responsible for oral interpretations or clarifications which anyone presumes to make on its behalf. Construction Start: June 2024 Construction Completion: Phased over 3 Years, Summer 2026 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
