This is a one-year contract to assess steep terrain mainly in our eastern operating areas. BC Timber Sales - Cariboo-Chilcotin Business area has several blocks and roads throughout both the Quesnel and Williams Lake timber supply areas requiring a terrain stability field assessment. These assessments are paramount to ensuring operator safety and mitigate any potential environmental hazards from industrial forest activities on the steep slopes. All contract related questions must be submitted in writing ONLY to the following email address: Forests.CaribooChilcotinTimberSalesOffice@gov.bc.ca. Deadline for receiving questions is 3:00 pm on August 15, 2023. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to electronically by August 17, 2023. The estimated contract period will be 12 month(s).
