The Geneva Park District is seeking sealed bids for the 2023 Paving Projects in Geneva, Illinois. The scope of work includes paving at multiple sites as shown and described within the construction plans and specifications. Work may start as soon as August 23, 2023 at some sites with all work concluded by November 10, 2023. Each site has specific dates for completion which are stated in the bid specification. Contractors bidding on the projects must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in paving projects. All contracts for work herein are subject to the provisions of all Geneva Park District regulations, and providing for the payment of Kane County's prevailing rate of wages toall related laborers, workers, and mechanics involved in the project. All bids will remain firm for 90 days after the bid opening.The Geneva Park District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bid proposals, in whole or in part, which inits judgment, will be in the best interest of the public or to waive any informalities in bidding. Only bid proposals in compliance with the provisions of the Contract Documents Will be considered. No bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bids for a period of ninety (90) days after thebid date opening. The Geneva Park District encourages small and minority businesses and women's business firms to submit bids on the approved project and successful contract bidders to utilize small and minority businesses and women's business as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction
