The Authority, in accordance with law, reserves the right to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part and also to waive any minor informality in any bid or bids so received. 2023 SJTA Absecon Boulevard (Route 30) Beautification Project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials, and performing all work required to enhance the landscaping within the center median of Absecon Boulevard between North Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd and North New York Avenue, in the City of Atlantic City, Atlantic County, New Jersey. Enhancements include installation of plant/landscape material, irrigation and low voltage lighting within the median. Questions must be received THURSDAY, JULY 27, 2023, at 4:00 P.M The Absecon Boulevard Median Landscape Improvements project, located on the Atlantic City Expressway, encompasses a planting area of approximately 5,500 square feet, and includes new tree up-lighting and upgrades to the existing irrigation system. The project features a mix of shade trees, shrubs, perennials, and grasses, which will be complemented with shredded bark mulch and perimeter metal edging. An expansion of the existing irrigation system will accommodate all proposed landscape enhancements and electrical upgrades for low-voltage landscape up-lighting. All lawn areas that are disturbed during the project will be reseeded.
