The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit competitive sealed bids to establish a contract for removal and replacement of existing asphalt roadways and removal and replacement of selected concrete walkways, along with new sidewalk construction. Bid Description : Hand delivered bids must be delivered in ample time to allow for security check in at the front desk and delivery to the Purchasing Office prior to the closing time for the solicitation. MANDATORY PREBID CONFERENCE: A mandatory prebid conference will be at State Farm Correctional Complex on August 4, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Administration Conference Room / 3500 Woods Way, State Farm VA 23136 . The purpose of this conference is to allow potential bidders an opportunity to present questions and obtain clarification relative to any facet of this solicitation. Due to the importance of all bidders having a clear understanding of the specifications/scope of work and requirements of this solicitation, attendance at this conference will be a prerequisite for submitting a bid. Bids will only be accepted from those bidders who are represented at this prebid conference. Attendance at the conference will be evidenced by the representative's signature on the attendance roster. No one will be admitted after 10:10 am. Bring a copy of the solicitation with you. Any changes resulting from this conference will be issued in a written addendum to the solicitation. Pre-register by emailing the Procurement Officer, Lori Hazelhoff-Mitchell at lori.hazelhoffmitchell@vadoc.virginia.gov, attendance is limited to two (2) individuals per company. The deadline for pre-registration is August 1, 2023, no later than 5:00 p.m., EST.
