The work consists of 2-1/2", 3" and 3-1/2" milling and resurfacing of approximately 5,492 square yards of HMA parking lot pavement along with asphalt base patching, pavement markings and other associated parking lot items associated with the project. All bids offered must be accompanied by bid security in the form of cash, certified check or bid bond made payable to the Village of Libertyville in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the aggregate of the bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of the contract properly secured. Electronic bid bonds will be accepted as part of this bid. The Village of Libertyville reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to award all or part of a contract, and to make such awards as are in the best interests of the Village of Libertyville. Factors other than price which will be considered in awarding or rejecting bids shall include the results of reference contacts, and the quality of the bidder's performance on prior projects, if any, in the judgment of the Village of Libertyville. All proposals submitted shall be valid for a period of 60 days.
