Project Cost Estimate: Contract Number 22-1, General/Mechanical - $960,000 Contract Number 22-2, Electrical - $175,000 Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record at Bankson Engineers, Inc. as having obtained the Bidding Documents. Bids will be accepted only from Bidders who have obtained official sets of Bidding Documents from Bankson Engineers, Inc. and who are on Bankson Engineers, Inc.s list of planholders. The Bid Proposal must be a paper copy, with an original signature, submitted in an envelope along with the original bid security, all as described in Section 00 21 13 -Instructions to Bidders. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or bidders bond in favor of Cowanshannock Township Municipal Authority in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the proposal. These contracts are subject to the provisions of the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts. All laborers and mechanics employed by contractors and subcontractors providing services on this project shall be paid wages at rates not less than those prevailing on projects of a character similar in the locality as determined by the United States Secretary of Labor in accordance with Title 40, Chapter 31, Subchapter IV of the United States Code These projects require all contractors to demonstrate compliance with federal Executive Orders 11625, 12138 and 12432 and EPA Regulations at 40 CFR Part 30, et al., through the detailed documentation of solicitation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). Contractors must demonstrate the Six Good Faith Efforts to identify and solicit DBE firms that are potential sources for any procurement action in the areas of project construction, equipment, services and supplies by including state qualified small businesses and minority and womenowned business enterprises in the bidding process. The above contracts, if awarded, will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidders. Cowanshannock Township Municipal Authority reserves the right to award contracts to bidders who, in its sole judgment, are qualified to perform the work, and to require submittal of qualifications and experience information demonstrating the bidders qualifications. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of one hundred twenty ( 120) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received.
