This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener ("the City") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Council Chambers Infrastructure Upgrade. The City invites qualified, experienced, proven proponents to respond to this opportunity to[AC1] successfully design, install, commission, warrant, and maintain, a state-of-the-art audio-visual (AV) and delegate system. The system should incorporate hybrid meeting functionality (i.e., participants are able to participate equitability in meetings, join speaking queue, raise hand functions, and vote) for the City's Council Chamber. Other scopes of work include coordination with the City's consultant team as required to support the overall project. It is the intention of the City to award to one (1) proponent to manage every aspect of the retrofit, followed by the provision of maintenance and other services that may be required for up to ten (10) years following the warranty of the system selected.
