The work covered by the plans and specifications includes furnishing all labor, equipment and the noted material for extension of 8-inch sanitary sewer by approximately 250 linear feet including new manhole, doghouse manhole, and restoration. This Improvement must attain Substantial Completion by November 17, 2023. All bidders must be qualified by experience and properly equipped to complete the work specified in the time allotted. Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "College St. Sanitary Sewer Extension Project, Contract 2023-414" and addressed to and delivered to the Director of Public Service, City of Wadsworth, City Hall, 120 Maple Street, Wadsworth, Ohio 44281, Each bid must be submitted on the form provided by the City in the bid book and must be fully completed and submitted intact. Each bid shall contain the entire bid book with all addendums, Each bid must contain the full name of the party Or parties submitting it. A certifled check, cashier's check or better of credit pursuant to Chapter1305 of the Ohio Revised Code. The amount of the certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit shall equal 10% of the full amount of the bid and the Successful Bidder will be required to submit a bond in the form provided in section 153.57 of the Ohio Revised Code in conjunction with the execution of the contract. Said bond shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.
