The Housing Authority of Northumberland County will receive sealed bids from bona-fide bidders for a single Prime Contract for General Construction for Window Removal and Replacements at Milton Towers, Milton, Pennsylvania. This is the final phase of the window removal and replacement project. WORK IS SUBJECT TO PREVAILING WAGE. Bids received after the stated due date and time will not be accepted. Bids are expected to be awarded at the regularly scheduled Housing Authority of Northumberland County public meeting following the August 3, 2023, bid opening. Prime bidders must submit documentary evidence of minority and women business enterprises who have been contacted and to whom commitments have been made. Documentation of employment opportunities as well as contract solicitations and commitments shall be submitted concurrently with the bid. Bidders must also submit documentary evidence of Section 3 business concerns who have been contacted and to whom commitments have been made. Documentation of such solicitations and commitments shall be submitted with the bid. Interested bidders must obtain their own set of documents from the issuing office, Architect, directly to be an eligible bidder. The last day to submit questions concerning the specifications is July 24, 2023. This is the final phase of a multi-phase project and there is no pre-bid meeting scheduled. Any contractors wishing to submit a bid and who would like to view a sample apartment may coordinate such a meeting via the Architect.
