The Village of Villa Park is now accepting sealed bid proposals for the construction of the new 38,000 SF, 2-story community recreation building, Assembly Group A-3, Type IIB Construction and related site work in Lions Park located at 320 E. Wildwood Avenue., Villa Park, IL. 60181. This project is partially funded by a grant from the State of Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) Capital Grant Program. Refer to the executed Grant Agreement between the State of Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) and the Village of Villa Park, Agreement LI-22-005, for additional information, including grant requirements. Bids will be accepted for the following trade packages: 1)Excavation & Site Demolition 2)Site Utilities 3)Asphalt Paving 4)Brick Pavers 5)Landscaping 6)Concrete 7)Masonry 8)Miscellaneous Metals 9)General Trades 10)Roofing 11)Glass and Aluminum 12)Exterior Envelope work- Lt. ga. Framing and Nichiha panels 13)Drywall & Acoustic 14)Ceramic Tile 15)Terrazzo 16)Carpet & Resilient Flooring 17)Wood & Resilient Athletic Flooring 18)Painting 19)Athletic Equipment 20)Food Service Equipment 21)Plumbing 22)Fire Protection 23)HVAC 24)Electric All questions concerning the bid document or specifications must be submitted in writing to Dave Ridderhoff at W. B. Olson, Inc. via email atdrr@wbo.com no later than 7 days prior to the bid due date. The Village of Villa Park reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all technicalities or to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the Village.
