This Contract includes provision of all personnel, supervision, services, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supplies for the following: 1. Mobilization and demobilization; 2. All field engineering and temporary facilities, including design thereof, required to perform the Work. 3. Replace all the existing forty-three (43) sensors, at the Overpeck County Park in Areas IIIA and IV, with Macurco TXP_T40 (TXP-T40 AL, 4-20mA, Intg Hsg (NO ETHERNET), RELAY (4) 5A/DUAL RS-485 MODBUS BOARD, T40 SENSOR, METHANE (CH4) 0-100% VOL, IR) or approved equal, in a Class 1 Division 2 environment, located within seven (7) buildings, as follows; 1. Eight (8) sensors at Comfort Station #1; 2. Ten (10) sensors at Comfort Station #2; 3. Three (3) sensors at Comfort Station #3; 4. Six (6) sensors at Amphitheater Stage Building; 5. Five (5) sensors at Equestrian Center; 6. Nine (9) sensors at Henry Hoebel Area; and, 7. Two (2) sensors at Maintenance Garage Building. 4. Utilize existing wiring at each of the seven (7) building locations to collect and transmit signals from the newly installed methane sensors to a controller to be located at the Maintenance Garage Building. 5. Install a Macurco Wireless Modbus Stick (WBS) to facilitate wireless communication between the controller, which is to be installed at the Maintenance Garage Building, and sensors located at other buildings. 6. Install a Macurco TXP-C64 (N4X, FIB, DUAL RS-485 PORTS, COM REL, C1D2), or equivalent, at the Maintenance Garage Building, which will communicate with sensors installed in the seven (7) buildings. Wireless communication is to be facilitated by way of a wireless gateway stick (Macurco WGS or equivalent). 7. Alarm conditions should not only be visible and audible at the main controller and at the sensor location, but also must be forwarded within moments to the cloud and down to connected phones, tablets, or PCs via email or text. All sensors and wireless systems are to be factory-configured for seamless installation and startup. 8. Install an alarm and strobe combo (TXP-COMBO ALARM, RED STROBE, 103-115 DB HORN, 12-24 VDC, IP65, GP), at each of the seven (7) buildings. The alarms and strobe combo are to be installed at the location of existing controllers at each of the seven (7) buildings. 9. Contractor to provide a calibration kit that includes a 0.5 LPM calibration gas regulator, Teflon tubing, magnetic wands, carrying case, zero emissions air calibration gas, and methane calibration gas. 10. Provide all other accessories and services to install a fully functional system in accordance with the intent of the design drawings and associated specifications. Bidder shall submit with the bid an electronic bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to Bergen County Treasurer, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for the full amount of the bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and said Surety will furnish a consolidated Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100% of the successful Bidder's contract. If the Bidder is to submit a certified check, or cashier's check it must be received at the Division of Purchasing no later than the time stated above at 1 Bergen County Plaza, Rm 370, Hackensack NJ 07601 Bidders shall comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17-27 et seq.
