Reference Number 0000324013 Snow removal services for parking lots and driveways for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years. Contractor Requirements/Responsibilities Proof of required minimum limits of insurance. Snow removal contractor must be available at the contractors pricing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including Holidays. The contractor is responsible for clearing snow and ice in all parking lots, loading docks and driveways at PMS and PHS. Prior to first snowfall, the contractor shall inspect all areas for its borders, curbing, signs and pipes. Any additional clarifications should be directed to Steve Essex, Facilities Director, Foster Glocester Regional School District. (401) 764-5895 or email at sessex@fgschools.com by July 25 at 3 pm. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any technical defect or informality in the proposals received, and to accept any of the proposals deemed most favorable to the interest of the school system. The contractor is responsible for marking and identifying all permanent hazards with bright colored stakes. The contractor will push all snow to areas designated by the Director of Facilities. If snow is pushed into inappropriate areas, the contractor will remove the snow at the contractors expense. Provide a list of all service vehicles and equipment that will be used to perform the snow removal.
