Project Location: Chopmist Hill Volunteer Fire Department 1362 Chopmist Hill Road Scituate, RI 02857 The Chopmist Hill Volunteer Fire Department is submitting this Request for Proposal (RFP) to seek a company(s) to provide VCT tile floor removal and epoxy floor installation in the following rooms: Day Room - 40' x 30' with a 5' x 10' hallway Men's Bathroom - 10' x 7' Women's Bathroom - 10' x 9' Project specifications are as follows: Strip old VCT tile floor, remove and dispose of all material. Surface preparation using floor grinding methods. Filling of joints, cracks, and transitions. Installation of epoxy floor coating with color and flake broadcast to match the fire station's kitchen floor (Sherwin-Williams Eclipse Flake). Installation of topcoat layer. If removal of vinyl wall cove molding is required - Reinstallation of replacement vinyl cove molding in black OR installation of epoxy to cover the bottom 4" of the wall in replacement of the molding. All work to be completed within 5 days of the start of the project The Town of Scituate Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids or Any Parts Thereof; to Waive Informalities and Technicalities; and, to Accept That Bid Which the Town and Purchasing Agent Deem to Be in the Best Interest of the Town, Whether or Not It is the Lowest Dollar Bid
