installation of approximately 36,000 square yards of Polymer-Modified Emulsified Asphalt Paving System (Micro Surfacing). Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of at least 10 percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond and Labor and Material Bond in an amount of 100% of the contract amount. The Township reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities permitted by law. Bids may be held by the Township for a period of 60 days from the date of Bid opening for the purpose of reviewing Bids and investigating qualifications of bidders prior to awarding Contract. All questions concerning the bid documents, or the project in general, must be submitted through PennBid no later than 5:00 PM, July 11, 2023.
