The US Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement for W.G. Huxtable Engine rebuild. The solicitation number is W912EQ23B0006 and is being issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB).The work consists Project is to repair, overhaul and inspect ten (10) Fairbanks Morse Opposed Piston Engines Model 38D81/8 ONSITE at W.G. Huxtable Pumping Plant including exhaust manifold system upgrade, engine pressure wash and cleaning, PLC controls upgrade, MCC replacement, UPS System, remote HMI Panels, Remote Monitoring Systems, spare parts (controls), Digital Tech Manual. The project also includes site cleanup.The Contractor shall provide all labor, parts and tools for this project. All work shall conform to local, state and federal codes. Work is considered a turn-key task. It is the bidders responsibility to ensure receipt of their bid before the due date. ALL SUBMISSIONS TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT SHALL BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY THROUGH PIEE, SOLICITATION MODULE. Electronic bid submission is required through the Army's electronic file sharing service, Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) (https://piee.eb.mil/), Solicitation module. No paper copies, CD-ROMs, email, or facsimile submissions will be accepted.
