**As of August 15, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The City of Stockton is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to Consultants interested in providing professional engineering services to prepare plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) to repair the depth of cover of the 36-inch diameter pipeline crossing the San Joaquin River, known as the (Project). Due to tidal movement and water scouring the bed of the river, the cover above the pipeline has receded and the minimum depth of cover at the river bottom is insufficient to protect the pipe. Services for this contract include but are not limited to preliminary design report, design (plans and specifications), coordinating/permitting with other agencies, engineering support during construction, and verification of remediation of the repairs after construction. Physical construction is not a part of this contract. It is assumed that all qualified Consultants are fully acquainted with the Citys requirements to ensure absolute compliance with City procedures. Each qualified Consultant shall have a duty to request any information from the City as it deems necessary to prepare this proposal. The City of Stockton is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to Consultants interested in providing design services to repair the depth of cover for a 36-inch diameter pipeline crossing the San Joaquin River.
