Question Deadline 09/26/2024 at 2:00 PM PT Provide Design Build Service for City of Palmdale SAVES Tenant and Site Improvements for new SAVES facility .The City of Palmdale seeks a qualified design-build firm to perform architectural and site improvement design-build services for the SAVES Tenant Improvement and Relocation Project. The public building will be designed to reflect a space of hope and community which includes welcoming colours, natural light, inviting entrance and a waiting area. The design is expected to be thoughtful, not institutional, thereby providing an uplifting and dignified experience for clients. The work will involve, but not necessarily be limited to the following. Prevailing wage rates will apply to the construction aspects of this Agreement, and other applicable Public Works requirements. Construction with Federal CDBG funds are subject to State Prevailing Wage and Davis Bacon wage rates in place at the time of award of the construction contract. his is a public work and requires the payment of prevailing wages for the work or craft in which the worker is employed for any public work done under the contract by Contractor or by any subcontractor pursuant to Section 1771 of the Labour Code. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773 of the Labour Code of the State of California, the City has obtained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general rate for holiday and overtime work in this locality for each craft, classification, or type of workman needed to execute this contract from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations. City of Palmdale reserves the right to monitor the D-B E's permitting activities, but this shall not relieve the D-B E's obligation to obtain and comply with all permits necessary for the performance of the services described in the Agreement and Appendices. Performance and Payment Bonds. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be 100% of Price Proposal and shall remain in effect for one (1) year following the date specified in the City's Notice of Completion, or, one (1) year following the date of final acceptance by the City, whichever is later.
