The scope of work consists of removing an existing waterslide and infrastructure, demolishing existing foundations, fence around waterslide, and concrete flat work, and ordering new waterslide and submitting foundation design calculations for permitting for waterslide (which includes any geotechnical engineering and structural engineering contracts), preparing site for new foundations, pouring concrete for foundations, flatwork, installation of new waterslide, completing plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work required to provide a fully functional waterslide meeting all necessary ADA requirements, and work with the City Engineer, City Inspector, and RSM Engineer to ensure work is completed to the proper standards. Each Bid must also be accompanied by security in the form of a Bidder's Bond issued by a corporate surety, a certified check, or cashier's check payable to the City of Galt, or cash. The amount of the bid security must be not less than ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price, consisting of the total base bid plus the total additive bid alternates. The successful Bidder shall be required to execute a Material and Labor Payment Bond and Performance Bond, issued by a corporate surety, in conformance with the requirements set forth in the Contract Documents, each for not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST: $850,000 to $950,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. TOTAL CONTRACT TIME: Order of Work: 1st Contract execution & Order Waterslide 20 Working Days, 2nd Order Construction 80 Calendar Days CONTRACTOR'S CALIFORNIA LICENSE REQUIRED: C53, A, or B confer license or grant for any other use. Written questions regarding this Invitation for Bids should be directed to Trung Trinh by email at ttrinh@cityofgalt.org no less than seven (7) calendar days before the time specified for opening Bids. No Bid received and read aloud may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, except pursuant to California Public Contract Code Section 5101 et seq. The City reserves the right to award the Contract, to reject any or all Bids, to waive non- material and inconsequential irregularities in any Bid, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, non-responsible, or conditional Bids.
