The Bay County Board of County Commissioners (County) seeks bids from qualified electrical contractors to provide for the turnkey replacement of the Switchboard at the Bay County Courthouse located at 400 East Fourth Street Panama City, Florida 32401. Switchboard replacement shall be accomplished as per the H2 Engineers Construction Documents attached as Exhibit 2. Bidders shall submit all questions, in writing, to the Purchasing Department via email Purchasing@baycountyfl.gov, the Bonfire portal, or FAX to (850) 248-8276. All questions shall be submitted no later than 5:00 pm (CDT) Friday, July 14, 2023. Bidders electing to submit paper bids should submit one (1) original bid package. Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the title of the work, the name of the bidder, and the date for opening. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure that the bid is received on time. Each bid shall be valid to Bay County for a period of ninety (90) days after the bid opening. The County will check the bids and notify the selected bidder at the earliest opportunity. Special Accommodation: Any person requiring a special accommodation at a Pre-Bid Conference or Bid opening because of a disability should call the Purchasing Department at (850) 248-8270 at least five (5) workdays prior to the Pre-Bid Conference or Bid opening.
