Project will include a new competition baseball field and competition softball field. Each will have a press box, backstop netting, dugouts, batting tunnels, fencing, and lighting. The project will also include a practice softball field and other site improvements and utility infrastructure necessary for the new athletic facilities. Bids will be received and project constructed under a single prime contract. Bids must be on a lump sum basis. Work to commence on or about October 30, 2023, and be substantially complete,including all seeding of the new athletic fields, on or before September 20, 2024. Final Acceptanceof the Project shall be on or before October 15, 2024. Bid Security must be in the form set forth in the Instructions to Bidders and submitted in a separate sealed envelope clearly labeled Bid Security. Bid Security must be in one of the following forms: Certified Check, Cashier's Check, Certified Share Draft or an approved Bond Form. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Certificate of Insurance and Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds both in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price and in accordance with other requirements outlined in the Bid Documents.
