DENTAL SCIENCE BUILDING - REPLACE AHU-2B Project Location: Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of the University of Iowa at Dental Science Building, 801 Newton Road, Iowa City, IA 52246. b. The Constructor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment necessary for, and incidental to, construction of this project as indicated on Drawings dated October 2, 2023. c. Work shall include everything requisite and necessary to finish work properly, notwithstanding that not every item of labor or materials or accessories required to make project complete may be specifically mentioned. d. General Description of Work: 1) Project consists of the replacement of existing AHU-2B with a new air handling unit within the first floor mechanical room on the east side of the north building, including all associated piping, controls and electrical work in support of this replacement. Scope also includes replacement of existing mixing boxes on third floor and associated control system upgrades and the extension of cross connection ductwork between the west and east duct risers. The scope also includes fire suppression, plumbing, and electrical work as required for installation of new cross connection ductwork. 2) Alternates: None 3) Allowances: None 4) Unit Prices: None e. Work Sequence: Not Applicable Any and all interpretations, corrections, revisions, and amendments shall be issued by the Design Professional to all holders of bidding documents in the form of written addenda. Such addenda shall be issued so as to be received at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the time set for the receipt of bids. All addenda so issued shall become part of the Contract Documents and shall be acknowledged in the Form of Bid.
