To furnish all labor, materials and equipment, and performing all work required for construction of Tenderden Lift Station Improvements serving Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 53, Harris County, Texas. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all irregularities. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes upon the blank form of proposal furnished. Sealed envelopes shall be marked in the upper left-hand corner as follows: "DO NOT OPEN IN MAIL ROOM, BID FOR HARRIS COUNTY MUD NO. 53 TENDERDEN LIFT STATION IMPROVEMENTS TO BE OPENED, 2:00 P.M., FRIDAY, May 5, 2023" Bid prices in the Proposal, written in words and in figures, shall be typewritten or plainly printed. Proposal shall be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a cashier's check or bank draft purchased from a national or state bank in the amount of Five percent of the greatest amount bid payable to the Owner, or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company licensed to operate and authorize to execute and issue bid bonds in the State of Texas and listed in the United States Treasury Department's current publication of Accepted Sureties, Department Circular 570, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute the required bonds within ten days after notice of award. Bids without check, bank draft, or bid bond will not be considered.
