The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight for the installation of new traffic signals, removal of existing traffic signals, pavement markings, and pavement restoration as indicated on the Contract Drawings. Question Deadline 10/06/2023 at 2:00 PM ET Questions may be submitted through electronically All Prime Contractor Bidders must be PennDOT Prequalified as a Prime Contractor for the tasks they complete, and all subcontractors must be PennDOT Prequalified as a Sub-Contractor for the tasks assigned. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wages shall apply to this contract. This project is subject to Section 3 requirements. Bidders shall make themselves aware of the equal employment opportunity obligations. MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to apply. The City of Hazleton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
