DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project is located at St. Johns County, Florida. Work associated with the subject requirement consists of dredging beach compatible sand from a specified offshore borrow area, transporting, and placing dredged material along approximately 3 miles of eroded shoreline in St. Augustine Beach, Florida and the constructing a beach berm to the specified template. Sand will be sourced from borrow area S-1, located approximately 6 miles offshore of the placement area in federal waters. Project work also includes, but is not limited to, beach tilling, vibration control monitoring, environmental species monitoring, and turbidity monitoring. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 25 July 2023 and bids will be due on or about 25 August 2023.
