Perpetuation project of approximately 11.94 centerline miles of STH 29 between Abbotsford and Wausau, from Purple Martin Lane to Little Rib River Bridge in Marathon County. The project consists of a 3.75-inch mill and overlay of the pavement, beam guard replacement as needed, and minimal curb and gutter replacement. The contract price will be based on an estimate of the selected consultant's actual costs plus fixed fee. Actual costs will be defined as those costs allowable under the cost principles in Part 31 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Consultant costs including indirect cost rates and cost accounting system will be subject to audit. Consultant firms that are unable to account for costs consistent with requirements of the FAR are not eligible to contract.
