The project includes complete concrete joint repairs and replacements of concrete slabs as needed on STH 29 and CTH H within the interchange systems, replacement of the pavement on the eastbound CTH H ramps, replacement of the pavement on CTH H south of the bridge, and removal and replacement of the HMA shoulders. The contract price will be based on an estimate of the selected consultant's actual costs plus fixed fee. Actual costs will be defined as those costs allowable under the cost principles in Part 31 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Consultant costs including indirect cost rates and cost accounting system will be subject to audit. Consultant firms that are unable to account for costs consistent with requirements of the FAR are not eligible to contract.
