The City of Newark is seeking bids from interested firms for the above referenced project. The project consists generally of placing approximately 863,000 square feet of type II polymer modified black aggregate slurry seal on Cherry Street between Central Avenue and Stevenson Boulevard, crack sealing, applying herbicide, traffic striping and legends removal, upgrading existing curb ramps, installing bike/vehicle detector traffic loops, upgrading existing Class II bike lanes to Class IV separated bikeways and related bike lanes signage, thermoplastic re-striping, and other related items of work necessary to complete improvements.
