A groundbreaking ceremony was held October 19, 2022. Site preparations and utility work were already underway and began in April 2022. Construction will take approximately two years to complete. **NOTE TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES: Do not contact the design team with questions regarding this project. All inquiries must be made through the official channels of the owner listed in the invitation to bid.** The work of this project includes: The METRO Gold Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project is a 10-mil transit line with dedicated bus-only lanes (dedicated guideway) serving the cities of Saint Paul, Maplewood, Landfall, Oakdale, and Woodbury. The Project includes the construction of 21 stations, four new BRT-exclusive bridges, one new pedestrian bridge, and seven bridges will be modified. Firms who were identified by the Consultant (Prime) that worked on the design of this Project cannot work as a contractor or subcontractor on this construction contract.
