All questions should be submitted no later than September 23, 2024, by 2:00PM. The State is not obligated to answer questions submitted after the question due date and time. Description: State Project Number 02CB0072 Replace Exterior Lighting LED at the State Capitol Building A. The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Demolition, and Electrical construction. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. Replacement of exterior lighting fixtures and associated wiring and devices. 2. Maintenance of masonry at locations of fixture removal. 3. Maintenance of masonry and waterproofing at new conduit locations. 4. Interior finish patching and repair at locations of conduit routing. 5. Site restoration at all disturbed site locations. This solicitation requires a General Proposal response from prime contractors. See Section 00 21 27 Best Value Request for Proposal Evaluation Process for the General Proposal requirements. Response requirements include, but are not limited to 1. Project Approach and Work Plan. 2. Project Schedule 3. Prime Contractor's Experience with Comparable Projects. 4. Subcontractor's Experience. 5. Safety Program. This Project has a 5% Targeted Group, Economically Disadvantaged, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (TG/ED/VO) subcontracting goal. The TG/ED/VO subcontracting goal will not be a consideration in determining the lowest responsible Prime Contractor.
