WORK consisting of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals and performing all work required for the project. The project includes, but is not limited to: grinding and removal of existing asphalt pavement, compaction, vegetation and tree removal, and the placement/construction of: concrete sidewalk, curb ramps, curbs, curb and gutter, asphalt pavement, retaining wall, drainage facilities, storm drain piping, storm drain inlets, irrigation sleeves, drainage swales, providing and adjusting water meter boxes to grade, adjusting utility and manhole covers to grade, conform grinding, hot mix asphalt paving, pavement striping and markings, signage, street lights and a new roundabout. Engineer's Estimate ($4.0M -$4.5M) (Base Bid) Question Deadline 08/03/2023 at 5:00 PM The deadline for submitting questions is 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 03, 2023. Each worker performing Work under this Contract that is covered under Labor Code 1720 or 1720.9, including cleanup at the Project site, must be paid at a rate not less than the prevailing wage as defined in 1771 and 1774 of the Labor Code. The City of Arcata reserves the right to reject any and all bids.THE CITY reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any defect or irregularity in bidding. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
