As of April 13, 2022, an architect has been selected to do the feasibility study. No firm timeline has been established for the construction. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference Request for Qualifications Architectural Services The Town of Centreville is accepting sealed submissions from qualified and interested architectural firms for the following project: Architectural services to study the various existing municipal departments and workspaces and to make recommendations for consolidating Town functions into one new Town Hall. Work to include space programming, schematic building site footprint and space needs, and an estimated construction budget. The Architect s submission of five (5) hard copies and one (1) digital copy shall include the following: 1. Full Company Profile 2. Resume of the Senior MD Licensed Architect performing the work and those of the study team. (No substitutions of team members will be permitted after award). 3. References from a minimum of five (5) Municipal (preferred) or Industrial/Private clients for whom municipal buildings have been designed and constructed. These references must include the names and contact information of the Town Managers and Department Heads with and for whom you worked on each project. References will be contacted by the Town. 4. Statement of Hourly Rates for the entire Study Team. 5. Direct costs for which the Town may be invoiced. (It should be noted here that all Indirect charges are presumed to be absorbed in the hourly multiplier. Be mindful that Direct Costs, if any at all, will be very carefully scrutinized). 6. A clean copy of the Architect s standard hourly contract, together with standard terms, and conditions for review by the Town. Contract need not be the AIA Standard. 7. The Architect shall provide a certificate of appropriate liability insurance written by an insurer authorized to transact insurance in the State of Maryland with the Town Council of Centreville named as an additional insured. The Town will review each Qualifications Package in detail, canvass references, and select the Architect deemed best suited for the study. This Request for Qualifications does not commit the Town to award a contract, to pay any cost incurred in the preparation of the submittal, or to procure or contract for services. The Town reserves the right but is not obligated to interview any or all qualified respondents, or to cancel in part or in its entirety this Request for Qualifications, as in the best interests of the Town may be served. All Work Shall Comply With Any and All Federal and State Covid-19 Restrictions and Guidelines Regarding Personal Hygiene and Work Space Sanitation in Place Throughout the Time of This Contract The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
