The Town of Centreville (Town) is requesting bids for the clean out and removal of the Bio Solids (Sludge) from the Town s re ed drying bed at the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) located at 335 North Liberty Street, Centreville MD 21617. The South Re ed Bed contains approximately 100 to 130 wet tons of sludge per year. The Contractor is responsible for performing his own verification of computed quantities. The Contractor is responsible for loading and transporting Bio Solids to the Midshore II Regional Landfill located at 12236 River Road, Ridgely, MD 21660 in Caroline County MD as required by Maryland Department of the Environment Sewage Sludge Utilization Permit # 2017-STR-5701. Contractor will supply all labor, tools, materials, equipment, permits, licenses, and insurance required to complete this project. Bids may be mailed to the Centreville Town Office at: Town of Centreville ATTN: Michael Whitehill, Project Administrator 101 Lawyers Row Centreville MD 21617 The Town of Centreville reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in the best interest of the Town. Award of the contract is subject to the approval of the Town Manager and Town Council of Centreville. If the contract performance is acceptable, the Town reserves the right to renew the contract for up to four additional terms of one year each, subject to the contractor s willingness to extend the term and appropriate wet ton pricing (if different from this award) is acceptable to the Town.
