**As of December 18, 2020, the bid opening has been postponed to December 21, 2020, at 1:00 PM.** The Town Manager, his designee, or Department Head may reject or accept any or all proposals in whole or in part to waive any informality in the proposals received if, in their opinion, it is in the best interests of the Town to do so. Proposals may be held by the Town of Plainville for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the opening for the purpose of reviewing the proposals and investigating the qualifications of the bidder prior to awarding the contract. Should the bidder find any omissions, discrepancies or errors in the specifications or should they be in doubt as to the meaning of the specifications or other Contract Documents, they should immediately notify the Town, which may correct, amend or clarify such documents by a written interpretation or addendum. No oral interpretations shall be made to any bidder and no oral statement of the Town shall be effective to modify any of the provisions of the Contract Documents.
