The project is expected to be awarded on September 14, 2020** The City of Dublin Ohio will receive sealed bids for the materials and labor necessary for the construction of the Waterline Replacement - Phase 5. The City of Dublin may choose to not award the bid-and bidders shall hold bids open-until sixty days after the bid opening. The work for which bids are invited consists of: replacing existing 2-inch or 3- inch water lines with approximately 1,800 feet of new 6-inch water line, including fire hydrants and other associated appurtenances, in six separate locations. This work will also include the reconnection of existing residential water services and associated milling and paving. ODOT pre-qualification required for prospective bidders. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed May 14, 2021. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Payment of Prevailing Wages is required for this Project. The City of Dublin reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom, in its opinion, offers the lowest and best bid. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
