The project area consists of the property known as Bartlett Beach, which is located at 150 Winnisquam Avenue and owned by the City of Laconia (Parcel No. 451-245-10). Presently storm water runoff in the immediate vicinity is causing erosion that is creating rills and wasting of the beach area. This work proposes to: Reduce the size of and regrade the existing gravel parking area so that it sheds away from the lake; Install a storm water conveyance system to better manage storm water runoff from the site causing erosion of the sand beach area. This system is designed to treat a portion of the first flush of rain events; To enhance the wetland buffer with tree plantings; and To make landscaping improvements to the beach area. The City of Laconia reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or any part thereof, to waive any formality in the bidding process, and to accept the bid considered to be in the best interest of the City. The City may cancel this bid request at any time for any reason. Failure to submit all information called for may be sufficient grounds for disqualification.
