Engineer's estimate: $796,000 - $973,000 Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for the Lightning W Tank 2 Construction and Tank 1 Rehabilitation. The Work for this project consists of constructing a new 250,000-gallon welded steel potable water tank adjacent to an existing 250,000-gallon tank. Subsequent work to rehabilitate the existing tank is also included. Specific items of work include grading, yard piping, new conduit and conductors, and fabrication of a new welded steel potable water tank to American Waterworks D100 standards. Also included will be interior blasting and coating and exterior blasting and painting for both tanks. A pre-bid conference will not be held. Bid results and the bid tabulation will be posted and bidders will be notified electronically of the results. TMWA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation the right to reject any or all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids, and to reject the bid of any bidder if TMWA believes that it would not be in the best interest of TMWA to make an award to that bidder. TMWA also reserves the right to waive informalities. Bids will be evaluated as prescribed in Nevada Revised Statute 338.147.
