Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals, and appurtenances required for the 2018-2019 Tank Improvements project. The TMWA 2018-2019 Tank Improvement project includes work at three locations in Reno, NV. All three tanks are welded steel potable water reservoirs ranging in capacity from 250,000 gallons to 2.0 million gallons. Specific items of work include interior blasting and recoating, improvements to existing appurtenances and fixtures, electrical conduit and conductor replacement, and lead paint abatement at one site. The bidder shall provide sufficient resources, and include allowances for cold weather coating formulations, dehumidification, and/or heating to ensure that the contract time and completion dates are met in the event ofinclement weather. A pre-bid conference and site visit will not be held. TMWA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation the right to reject any or all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids, and to reject the bid of any bidder if TMWA believes that it would not be in the best interest ofTMWA to make an award to that bidder. TMWA also reserves the right to waive informalities. Bids will be evaluated as prescribed in Nevada Revised Statute 338.147. The cost for all bid documents is non-refundable. A $250.00 deposit is required due to Homeland Security issues before any Bid Documents may be purchased. Complete plans and specifications must be returned to TMWA within thirty (30) days ofBid Opening or the deposit will be forfeited. The bid proposal package comprised of the: Bid Bond, Bid Schedules, Local Preference Affidavit (if applicable) and Acknowledgement and Execution is stapled and found in the inside front cover of the Contract Documents/Specifications. Proposals must be submitted on the stapled bid proposal package to be considered a responsive and responsible bid. Truckee Meadows Water Authority will not consider a Bid received if there is an omission of or failure to complete any portion of the required documents prior to the time of Bid Opening. Do not submitthe entire bid book. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of not less than five percent of the amount bid in the proposal. Questions may be submitted in writing to the Contract Administrator up to three (3) business days before Bid Opening.
