**The anticipated completion date is late summer.** Proposals are being solicited for Oil tank removal/replacement at 78 Ripley Hill Road, 1776 Main Street, 3453 Main Street, 227 Cross Street, Coventry CT and in accordance with the RFP's scope of work, specifications, terms and conditions. Prospective vendors are advised to read this information carefully prior to submitting a proposal. The Town of Coventry reserves the right to reject all bids, or to waive any technical defects, and to make an award to the party determined to be the lowest cost, responsive and responsible bidder. The scope of work for this project generally includes, but is not limited to, the following major elements: 1. Selective demolition. 2. Off-site disposal of all removed materials. 3. Installation of Above Ground Fuel Oil Storage Tanks, Fuel Piping, and accessories. 4. Phasing of demolition and new construction to maintain heat to building during construction. 5. Electrical work associated with new AST installation work described in the Construction Documents. 6. Controls work associated with new AST installation work described in the Construction Documents. 7. Cutting, patching, and site restoration work described in the Construction Documents. This contract is subject to state set-aside and contract compliance requirements. Contractors must carry the minimum insurance coverage limits as indicated in the bid specifications. A certificate of insurance will be required upon the notification of the contract award and costs must be included in the bid proposal. This project will require the awarded contractor to utilize State of Connecticut Prevailing Wage Rates. The current wage rates are included in the contract manual. The Town of Coventry reserves the right to reject all bids, or to waive any technical defects, and to make an award to the party determined to be the lowest cost, responsive and responsible bidder.
