PN 7270, which includes sewer improvements for the following streets: S Avers Av from W 71st St to W 72nd St W 72nd St from S Hamlin Av to S Springfield Av S Ridgeway Av from W 71st St to Alley South of W 71st St S Hamlin Av from W 70th Pl to W 70th St The work for which proposals are invited consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, tools, transportation, materials and services for the sewer improvements in S Avers Av from W 71st Stto W 72nd St, W 72nd St from S Hamlin Av to S Springfield Av, S Ridgeway Av from W 71st Stto Alley South of W 71st St, and S Hamlin Av from W 70th Pl to W 70th St. This includes but isnot limited to performing all work for the installation of 1,330 lineal feet of 24-inch internal diameter reinforced concrete sewer pipe; 481 lineal feet of 36-inch internal diameter reinforcedconcrete sewer pipe; installation of manholes and catch basins; installation of connection structures and tumbling basins; installation of temporary water main supports; construction ofconcrete collar connections, installation of drain connections. This includes but is not limited tosite mobilization, providing traffic control and protection for the duration of the contract, supporting, cut/cap and replacing, and/or abandonment of existing water main; removal and/orabandonment of existing sewer; all required excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling andcompaction of excavations; restoration of pavements, curbs, walkways, landscaped areas andremoval of all construction debris; as described in the detail specifications, including all appurtenant work and accessories, to the complete satisfaction of, approval and acceptance by the City. Site inspection shall be arranged through the Project Manager at the office of the Bureau of Engineering Services, Sewer Section, Jardine Water Purification Plant, Room 313 (+51), 1000 E. Ohio St., Chicago, IL. (Telephone 312-744-0408).
