Route 31 SB, CR 523 (Walter Foran Boulevard) to Wescott Drive (CR 600), Contract No. 023168050, Township of Raritan, County of Hunterdon; Federal Project No: 0031345, UPC No: 168050, PE No: 1012538, CE No: 1012545 Estimated Completion Date on 06/16/2026 Contractors Prequalified in one of these Work Types are eligible to bid this project: 3, 3a , or 5 Project Labor Agreement Required: No The Principal Items of Work Consist of: Roadway Quantity Unit Description 3,265 Cy Excavation, Unclassified 4,331 Sy Dense-graded Aggregate Base Course, 10" Thick 3,107 T Hot Mix Asphalt, Various Size and Course 1,714 T Stone Matrix Asphalt 12.5 Mm Surface Course 2,733 Lf Concrete Vertical Curb, Various Size 1 Ls Gas Utility Relocation Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d), if the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD Commissioner) makes an initial determination that an employer has violated the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.) by paying wages at rates less than the rates applicable under that act, the LWD Commissioner may immediately issue a stop-work order to cease all business operations at every site where the violation has occurred, and may assess a civil penalty of $5,000 per day against the employer for each day it conducts business operations in violation of the stop-work order. If the stop-work order is issued against a subcontractor, the general contractor may terminate that subcontractor from the project in accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d). Minimum Wage Rates for This Project Shall Be as Specified in the "Prevailing Wage Determination of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development" on File With This Department. The Attention of Bidders is Directed to the Provisions Covering Subletting or Assigning The Contract to Section 108-prosecution and Completion of the New Jersey Department of Transportation Standard Specifications. The Entire Work is to Be Completed on or Before the Estimated Completion Date Stated Above. DOT reserves its right to reject any or all bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 27:7-30 and N.J.S.A. 27:7-33.
