The City of Austin ("City") seeks Contractors qualified to provide portable fire extinguishers, fire extinguisher services, and fire extinguisher training services. The services shall include periodical and annual inspections and as-needed maintenance, repair, recharging, and recycling of types of Dry Chemical/ABC, Halon/ABC, Dry Chemical/BC, CO2 and Halon/BC portable fire extinguishers owned by City of Austin (hereinafter referred to as "City"). Services under this contract shall support over 300 City-owned facilities varying in size. All services shall be rendered at the location specified at the time of order. A list of City facilities is included in the solicitation as Attachment A. The City reserves the right to add or remove departments and locations at the City's discretion. This Contract shall remain in effect for an initial term of thirty-six (36) months or until the City terminates the Contract. This Contract may be extended automatically beyond the initial term for up to two (2) additional twelve-month periods at the City's sole option. Questions Due Date and Time Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 3:00 PM CST The City reserves the right to cancel this Solicitation at any time for any reason and to resolicit the goods and services included in this Solicitation.
