Sealed Bids for the installation of a new HDPE force main crossing and underneath Lehigh River via horizontal directional drilling (HDD) for the Easton Area Joint Sewer Authority Second Street Pumping Station Either a Certified Check or a Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Easton Area Joint Sewer Authority in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security. A bid bond must have a surety listed on the U.S. Treasury's Circular 570 and authorized to perform services in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Easton Area Joint Sewer Authority hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any or all bids, and also reserves the right to waive any omissions, errors, defects, irregularities or informalities in any bid. The successful bidder is required to provide performance, payment and maintenance bonds, and insurance, as provided in the project bid specifications. Question Deadline 10/23/2024 The last day for questions regarding the project or to make a site visit Except as otherwise provided by law, no Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of opening thereof, or one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days if the award is delayed by a required approval of another governmental agency, the sale of bonds or the award of a grant or grants The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies to the Project. The successful Bidder shall be required to comply with the Act, and pay wages in accordance with the PA Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wage Determination. The Pennsylvania Public Works Employment Verification Act 141 of 2022 also applies to this project.
