The City of Huntsville, Texas is interested in obtaining prices for a comprehensive year-round litter control service on a monthly schedule within the Huntsville City Limits. Service areas are to be maintained continuously with right-of-way areas kept free of litter and unwanted debris. The City's desire is to have litter control services performed on a regularly scheduled monthly pick up of approximately 40 miles of City Streets as defined by the Litter Control Services Street List included below and the Litter Control Services Street Map (Attachment 1). Performance measures may be discussed with the service provider to gain optimum service. The City reserves the right to make reasonable amendments to the areas of work during the life of this award. Question Deadline 09/25/2024 at 5:00 PM CT All questions concerning the solicitation should be directed to the Procurement Manager, Lucy Gonzalez, via email at: purchasing@huntsvilletx.gov. A written addenda will be issued as a response and will be posted on or before September 26, 2024 @ 5:00 P.M. on the City of Huntsville website, Public Purchase website and Electronic State Business Daily website. This contract shall be effective from date of award to September 30, 2025. Upon mutual agreement of the parties and contingent upon City Council budget approval, contract may be extended for a period of one (1) additional year, from October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026. A renewal contract must by signed by the City prior to the expiration of the initial term. The City reserves the right to reject any bids that do not meet specifications stated herein or reject all bids should this project not be approved for any reason.
