Reference Number 0000363688 Delivery Point Fountain, CO Please read the information to bidders in the project manual for scope of work, and what is being provided by others. Remove and replace an existing sanitary sewer lift station. Replace existing 8" dia. pipe with SDR-35 pipe. Clean existing 4" dia. steel force main. Replace control panel. Set two concrete boxes. Core drill concrete box for all pipes. Add all necessary material per the CD's. Additional scope of work items, but not limited to the following list: 1) All existing material removed during construction is the responsibility of the contractor to dispose of. 2) Contractor responsible for all asphalt damaged or removed during construction per City of Fountain requirements. 3) Fountain Sanitation District has not located any underground utilities, this will be the responsibility of the contractor before digging. 4) Contractor is responsible for a traffic control plan that meets the City of Fountain requirements. 5) Contractor is responsible for all erosion control measures. 6) Contractor is responsible for pumping sanitary sewer flows into existing force main line. 7) Contractor must submit compaction tests per FSD specs. prior to setting concrete boxes and paving. 8) Pavement thickness needs to match existing conditions or min. 5", whichever is greater, over 24 of aggregate base course. The base course is required regardless of the asphalt thickness determined. 9) Contractor responsible for geotech testing. Question Deadline 10/07/2024 at 4:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online No, Submit all questions about the Drawings or Specifications to the Engineer in writing no later than three (3) days prior to the time set for receipt of bids. Corrections or clarifications shall be made by Addendum. Oral clarifications will not be binding. If awarded a contract, the undersigned Bidder agrees to complete the work 4-weeks from a start date of November 4, 2024, there will be no penalty for starting early. 5% Bid Bond A Payment Bond and a Performance Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the Owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the Contract on the forms provided by the Owner. The Owner shall award or reject the bids within five (5) days after the opening of bids. A conditional, qualified or unbalanced bid may, at the discretion of the Owner, be rejected. The Owner may waive any informalities or minor defects or reject any and all bids.
