Killeen ISD is accepting proposals from qualified vendors to provide services and repairs on an as needed basis to freezers and refrigerants across district facilities that are utilized by the Child Nutrition Department. Killeen ISD is required to conduct a cost or price analysis for the procurement of goods and/or services within the scope of services offered with this bid solicitation. All products and services submitted for consideration, unless otherwise noted, must be appropriate for Federally Funded School Nutrition Programs. This contract will be effective on or around October 31, 2024 through October 30, 2025, with the option to renew up to four (4) consecutive additional one (1) year periods. No escalation of prices are allowed for one (1) year from the contract's start date. Killeen ISD, may at its sole option, extend this bid for an additional sixty (60) days from the date of expiration, under the same pricing and terms and conditions if it is determined by the District that additional time is required to avoid a contract lapse. The District, through its duly authorized constituted officials, reserves the right to accept any offer in its entirety or in part, any offer deemed most advantageous to the Killeen Independent School District and to waive any formalities in bidding. All questions received and the corresponding answers will be distributed to all bidders via the electronic bid system. No verbal responses will be provided. The deadline for questions about this proposal is stated in the Event Details. The District will not respond to questions after this time and date. Prospective vendors will be responsible for checking the website for any posted Q&A.
