Wilmington Valve Replacement Project All bidders must be on the plan holders list. No successful bidder will be on debarred list of the State of Ohio or the State Auditor's Finding for Recovery list. Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond, cash, or certified check in an amount of 10% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the County of Fayette. Bid Bonds shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond. Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in the form of Ohio Revised Code Section 153.571 is included in the bid package as an acceptable option. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to prevailing wage standards, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Fayette County, Ohio. No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of opening thereof. The County of Fayette reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject any or all bids.
