The City of San Antonio is seeking qualified contractors for dangerous premise abatement lot clearing and securing of structures for various locations. No volume of work under this contract is guaranteed. Once the contract is executed, specific projects will be identified and may be performed under this contract on an "as needed" basis. The contractor will furnish all labor, equipment and material to clear debris and mow grass and weeds and remove all brush, rubbish, rocks, bricks and trash; paint over graffiti; when necessary, secure accessible structures by attaching plywood to first floor windows; and when necessary, clear debris from structures as required on properties identified by the City. Pursuant to Section 011 - Restrictions on Communications and in accordance with and as authorized by Section 2-61 of the City Code, the following restrictions on communications apply to this solicitation: Respondents are prohibited from contacting 1) City officials, as defined by 2-62 of the City Code of the City of San Antonio, regarding the RFP or proposal from the time the RFP has been released until the contract is posted for consideration as an agenda item during a meeting designated as an A session; and 2) City employees from the time the RFP has been released until the contract is approved at a City Council "A" session. Question Deadline 09/30/2024 at 4:00 PM CT Respondents may submit written questions concerning this RFP to the Staff Contact Person Victor R. Costilla, Procurement Specialist III City of San Antonio, Finance Department - Procurement Division Victor.costilla@sanantonio.gov. Questions received after the stated deadline will not be answered. All questions shall be sent by e-mail. Questions submitted and the City's responses will be posted with this solicitation.
