The scope of work includes cleaning, television inspection, and preparation of pertinent inspection reports for approximately 55,000 linear feet of 8 diameter sanitary sewer, 1,000 linear feet of 10" diameter sanitary sewer, 3,700 linear feet of 12" diameter sanitary sewer, and 50 linear feet of 15" diameter sanitary sewer. The objective and intent of this work is to identify existing pipeline conditions, suitability for rehabilitation and methods of rehabilitation. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3, and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply. The Authority shall (a) award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder therefore, or (b) reject all bids received within ninety (90) days of the date of bid opening; provided, however, that the Authority may, in its sole discretion, delay such award or rejection for up to one hundred twenty (120) days from the bid opening date until the Authority has received all required approvals from other governmental agencies. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
